How the selection process works
1) Consultation & preferences
We align with your clinic and clarify your preferences—phenotype, education/interests, languages, location, availability, and anonymity level (anonymous / semi-known / known). You’ll receive a checklist, budget outline, and next steps.
2) Curated profile set
Your coordinator presents pre-screened donor profiles that fit your criteria. Each profile includes medical/family history snapshots (per clinic policy), availability windows, and logistics (local vs. travel donor).
3) Shortlist & Q&A
You shortlist candidates. Where policy allows, we can facilitate coordinator-led Q&A (anonymous or semi-known) to confirm values and expectations before you decide.
4) Official selection
You choose your donor and authorize the clinic to proceed. We coordinate screening, genetic carrier testing (clinic-directed), and legal steps—keeping your timeline on track.
5) Legal & scheduling
Both sides retain independent attorneys; the donor agreement covers confidentiality/anonymity, expenses, and rights. We finalize travel (if needed), monitoring windows, and the cycle calendar.
6) Cycle & retrieval
The clinic manages medications and monitoring (2–3 weeks). Retrieval is an outpatient procedure. Your coordinator tracks milestones and payments per the agreed schedule.
